Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

Create all types of loan documents for the loan processing department as well as uploading loan data and new customer information to the bank's core system.

EXPECTATIONS OF ALL SOUTHERN BANK TEAM MEMBERS

  • Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Creates loan documents for all types of loans (consumer, real estate, commercial, secondary market) in a timely manner according to bank and regulatory guidelines;
  • Checks and insures that all proper authority has been received to create the documents;
  • Inputs the new loan information and new customer information into the core system;
  • Maintains the document tracking for certain loans;
  • Inputs HMDA information into the LAR;
  • Assists with flood program management; and,
  • Assists with miscellaneous other job duties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Previous experience/job knowledge in loan processing or loan-related functions is preferred but not required.
  • Good interpersonal communication and computer skills;
  • Highly attentive to detail and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment; and,
  • Strong typing skills.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
