Registered Nurse (RN): Cardiac Telemetry

7 South: Cardiac Telemetry

Aurora West Allis Medical Center, West Allis, Wi 53227

Where You Will Work:

Our Patient Population:

  • 21 Bed unit providing care to Cardiac/Telemetry care patients.
  • Diagnosis includes Cardiac Arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis.
  • Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and Telemetry.
  • 7 South RNs are ACLS certified within 6 months with ability to respond to all in house Code 4 calls.
  • Supportive learning environment, team approach, patient centric care to optimize patient outcomes.

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Newly Licensed RN’s and Experienced RN’s Welcome!
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Bachelor of science in nursing preferred

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
