Job description

Successful candidates will receive Bethel School District's $4,000 Special Education Hiring Incentive!
Educators must be fully and appropriately licensed by Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) to be eligible for this incentive. Restricted license holders will not be eligible. The hiring incentive applies to individuals newly employed by the district. This incentive will be prorated based on the employee's hire date.
  • $1,000 bonus after 30 days of work
  • $750 in December paycheck
  • $750 in March paycheck
  • $1,500 in June at the conclusion of the school year
Bethel School District is seeking appropriately licensed candidates for a 1.0 FTE Middle School Resource Room Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Location to be determined.
Candidates who are licensed or will have the ability to be licensed by Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission by the start of the 2026-2027 school year are encouraged to apply.

Selection Factors
  • Knowledge of educational programs offered in all schools and of basic educational techniques, as required by the position.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Possess an Oregon Teaching License valid for assignment by start of the school year

  • Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal, Oregon Department of Education, and TSPC background checks
