Job Summary
This position is the primary liaison between divisions of Carlisle and the customers who purchase our materials. Our Order Management Specialists are responsible for delivering The Carlisle Experience by getting the right product, to the right place, at the right time, in the right condition, with the right invoicing - and being a pleasure to do business with throughout. The OMS is also the customer's primary point of contact for resolution of problems as they arise. This individual will be expected to form strong relationships with internal and external customers, representatives, and Carlisle regional sales managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handles all requests for an assigned territory of customers, managing customer orders from placement through successful delivery and invoicing, providing accurate lead times and verifying pricing, credit memos, and RMAs.Works with colleagues in inventory and production planning to source material for
  • Reviews open orders on a regular basis to proactively identify and work through changes, rescheduling shipments with customers when needed.
  • Maintains a network of appropriate contacts within the various departments such as Inventory Management, Shipping, Purchasing, AP, and Production as well as with external vendors.
