Job description

Southern Sound & Lighting is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to help grow corporate event, conference, gala, graduation, concert and special event business. This is not a sit-at-the-desk order-taking role. The right person will actively prospect, build relationships, follow up consistently, gather complete event details, and work closely with our production team to create accurate proposals.


We are an established Houston-based A/V production company with more than 35 years in business, a strong reputation, and the equipment, staff, and experience to support high-level events. For an aggressive, organized salesperson, commissions can substantially increase total earnings.


Duties

  • Manage and nurture existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Participate in business development activities to enhance market presence and brand awareness..
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
