The Clinical Manager will meet regularly with para-professionals as they provide community-based services for individuals with serious mental illness. Provide structured supervision sessions, and guide these community support staff members into providing clinically sound services. - Participates in the hiring process for Mental Health Specialists or Community Support Specialists.
- Provides clinical supervision of Mental Health/Community Support Specialists.
- Provides individual clinical supervision for each direct report weekly, and group supervision at least once per month. Documents supervision accordingly.
- Works collaboratively with the nursing and medical staff, especially in regard to psychiatric symptom management and primary care coordination.
