Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with volunteers, interns, and other staff members to design and promote activities that cater to the unique needs of each client.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local referral sources, including inpatient facilities and other community-based programs, to ensure a steady stream of intake referrals.
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
  • Implement treatment plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, adapting strategies as needed to meet client progress and needs.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to provide support, guidance, and psychoeducation to clients and their families.
  • Maintain compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and Division of Behavioral Health standards, assisting in the organization's accreditation and certification efforts.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to foster professional development and unit cohesion.
  • Provide advocacy for clients by connecting them with community resources and services that may assist in addressing social determinants of health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex issues related to perinatal mental health. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.

Compensation and Benefits
