Job Title: Warehouse/Manufacturing Associate
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Goldsboro, NC
Pay: $14 per hour
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Sorter/Floater is responsible for sorting, organizing, and processing incoming and outgoing products while providing support across multiple warehouse departments as needed. This position requires flexibility to perform a variety of warehouse functions, including sorting, packaging, shipping, receiving, inventory support, and material handling. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sort incoming products and materials according to company procedures and customer specifications.
· Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns.
· Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
· Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (when certified).
· Move materials throughout the warehouse to support production and shipping operations.
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity goals.
· Basic math and reading skills to accurately complete work orders and shipping documents.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
· Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.
· Experience sorting, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving products.
