General Warehouse Associate (Sortation)

Location: Elkridge, MD

Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 4:30 AM – 8:30 AM (20 hours/week)

Job Type: Part-Time | Entry Level to Experienced (1–5+ years)

Are you an early bird who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for dedicates General Warehouse Associates to join our team in Elkridge. This role is the backbone of our morning operations. You will ensure freight is sorted accurately and efficiently so our delivery teams can hit the road on time every day.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive & Unload: Efficiently receive incoming shipments and unload freight from trailers.
  • Pallet Breakdown: Break down pallets and organize inventory for daily processing.
  • Route Sortation: Sort freight and packages into specific routes and lanes for box trucks and delivery vans.
  • Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace throughout your shift.


Requirements

  • Reliability: Ability to consistently make the 4:30 AM start time and stay until the daily sort is fully completed (shifts may extend slightly based on volume).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong aptitude for reading labels and placing freight into designated lanes accurately.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable with continuous standing, lifting, bending, and manual labor.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Experience with (or ability to quickly learn) RF scanners and manual pallet jacks.
