Job description

Position Summary: The Sortation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations supporting the sortation and staging of high-end and luxury wine throughout New York. This role leads, coaches, and monitors associate performance to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time deliveries while consistently providing exceptional customer service. Success in this position requires strong strategic planning, attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and thorough oversight of equipment maintenance and upkeep.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

● Plan and manage daily route sorting

● Coordinate with all departments to ensure secure handling of product and customer satisfaction

● Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, with safety and customer focus

● Investigate and resolve delivery issues, service failures, and customer concerns promptly

● Respond to any accidents or emergency situations even if after hours

● Handle all accident reporting

● Monitor Sortation Associate performance, accuracy and attendance

● Conduct coaching and performance reviews to reinforce company policies

● Review employee performance during reviews and issues disciplinary action as needed

● Oversee and participate in quality check and routing building to ensure 100% accuracy

● Provide safety training and communicate company policies to all associates

● Take part in the recruitment and hiring of new associates

● Audit and submit timekeeping for payroll

● Perform other related duties as assigned
