Job description

VCO Systems is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Consultant / WMOS Design Lead with deep experience in Manhattan Associates WMOS implementations and warehouse solution design.

This role will lead functional design, solution configuration, testing strategy, and client-facing delivery for complex warehouse management initiatives. The ideal candidate can translate business and operational requirements into scalable WMOS solutions, guide project teams through implementation, and serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

The role supports customers across the U.S. and may involve collaboration with VCO's global delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional and solution design for Manhattan WMOS implementations, enhancements, and support initiatives.
  • Facilitate discovery and design workshops with business, operations, and IT stakeholders.
  • Translate warehouse operational requirements into scalable WMOS designs and configurations.
  • Define end-to-end process flows across receiving, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and related warehouse functions.
  • Develop functional design documents, configuration specifications, process flows, and solution recommendations.
  • Review business requirements and identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and design alternatives.
  • Provide guidance on WMOS configuration, data models, interfaces, and operational workflows.
  • Lead testing strategy across SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end business process validation.
  • Troubleshoot complex functional and system issues using SQL and WMOS data models.
  • Work closely with developers, integration teams, architects, business analysts, QA teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Support integrations between WMOS and ERP, TMS, automation, material handling, and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and offshore delivery teams.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-production stabilization.
  • Participate in solution estimation, project planning, client presentations, and design reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and warehouse optimization beyond basic system configuration.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience implementing, designing, configuring, or supporting Manhattan Associates WMOS.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of the Manhattan WM Open Systems platform.
  • Demonstrated experience leading functional design or solution design activities on complex WMOS implementations.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and end-to-end distribution center processes.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional and technical solution designs.
  • Strong knowledge of WMOS configuration, data models, and table relationships.
  • Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, data validation, testing, and analysis.
  • Experience leading SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing cycles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex production and implementation issues.
  • Experience working with integrations between WMOS and enterprise applications, automation systems, or material handling equipment.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with distributed and offshore delivery teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently lead workstreams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
  • 10+ years of supply chain or warehouse management consulting experience.
  • Previous experience as a Functional Lead, Solution Lead, Design Lead, or Senior Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, distribution center design, and warehouse optimization.
  • Experience with warehouse automation, conveyors, sortation, Pick-to-Light, robotics, or other MHE integrations.
  • Experience integrating WMOS with ERP, TMS, OMS, EDI, APIs, or enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management is a plus.
  • Experience leading customer workshops, solution demonstrations, and design reviews.
  • Experience supporting RFPs, solution estimates, and implementation planning.
  • Experience with automated testing, performance testing, or regression testing frameworks.
  • Ability to mentor consultants and provide functional leadership across project teams.
