PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading Consumer Retail Industry organization to hire an experienced Facilities Technician. If you're a skilled industrial or commercial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairs, and improving facility operations, this is your opportunity to make a daily impact in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Urbancrest, OH | Pay: $26-$35

Schedule(s):

  • Days: Sun-Tues 5AM-5PM and Wed 5AM-11AM

  • Days: Wed 11A-5P and Thur-Sat 5A-5P

  • Nights: Sun-Tues 5P-5A and Wed 5P-11P

  • Nights: Wed 11P-5A and Thur-Sat 5P-5A

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, lighting, and pneumatic system issues

  • Read and complete work orders using a CMMS system

  • Maintain rack systems, guardrails, tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs

  • Assist fellow technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance

  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, or related trade experience (or equivalent education/experience combination)

  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring repairs, and carpentry

  • Experience safely operating hand and power tools

  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and customer service skills

  • Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial facilities maintenance experience
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching

  • Lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally

  • Work in indoor/outdoor environments with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and uneven surfaces
