You Are:
An Experienced SAP EWM functional lead with deep hands-on configuration expertise across complex warehouse operations in S/4HANA embedded and decentralized EWM deployments who guides clients through end-to-end warehouse transformation - from inbound receiving and putaway through inventory management, outbound fulfillment, and automation integration - across distribution, manufacturing, and 3PL environments.
The Work:
  • Lead design and configuration of end-to-end EWM processes: inbound delivery, putaway strategies, wave management, picking, packing, goods issue, and outbound fulfillment
  • Design warehouse structure including warehouse numbers, storage types, sections, activity areas, and bin configuration across single and multi-DC landscapes
  • Configure Warehouse Task/Order management, putaway and picking strategy determination, and storage type search sequences
  • Lead Handling Unit (HU) management design including packaging specifications, nested HUs, batch management, shelf-life, and serial number tracking
  • Configure RF framework including transaction customization, verification steps, and exception handling for shop floor and warehouse execution
  • Design and configure Labor Management (LM) including activity types, engineered labor standards, and performance benchmarking
  • Lead automation integration design including Material Flow System (MFS), conveyor/sortation interfaces, and goods-to-person scenarios
  • Configure Yard Management, dock appointment scheduling, Value-Added Services (VAS), and cross-docking scenarios where in scope
  • Own EWM integration design with MM, SD, PP, TM, and FI across inbound, outbound, and production supply scenarios
  • Advise on embedded vs. decentralized EWM deployment model trade-offs and WM-to-EWM migration strategy
  • Lead EWM workstream through full SAP Activate lifecycle including fit-to-standard workshops, BBPs, FSDs, SIT, UAT, and cutover

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements
Here's What You Need:
  • Minimum of 8 years of SAP EWM experience, including full lifecycle S/4HANA or ECC EWM implementation experience as a functional lead
  • Minimum of 5 years of configuration experience across warehouse structure, inbound/outbound processes, putaway/picking strategies, wave management, HU management, and RF framework
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Labor Management and warehouse automation integration experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of cross-workstream integration experience across MM, SD, PP, TM, and FI/CO
  • Prior experience working for a large Consulting/Advisory firm (Big 4, global SI, or boutique SAP consulting environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate's Degree with 6 years of work experience)

Bonus Points if:
  • You have a SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management certification
