Job description

We are looking to hire a hands-on Sort Center Supervisor to lead daily sortation operations in our Woodland, CA facility. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, coordinating workflow, and ensuring packages are accurately sorted and processed on time while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with warehouse supervisory experience who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and is committed to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily sort center operations and warehouse associates.

  • Assign work and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.

  • Ensure packages are accurately sorted and processed on schedule.

  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities.

  • Train, coach, mentor, and develop team members.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and address workflow issues.

  • Partner with inbound, outbound, and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Enforce safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.

  • Report operational performance and issues to leadership.

  • Ensure staffing and workflow meet the demands of a seven-day operation.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.

  • Experience with sortation, order ful-fillment, and warehouse operations.

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
