Maintenance Technician - $30-$35/Hour | 2nd & 3rd Shift | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Full-Time | 2nd (1pm-11:30) & 3rd (9pm-7:30am) Shift Available | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Overtime Available
Ready to take your maintenance career to the next level? We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team and keep critical material handling equipment and facility systems operating at peak performance. If you enjoy troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and working in a fast-paced distribution environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, forklifts, and material handling equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures and emergency breakdowns
Install, remove, and modify conveyor systems to support process improvements
Perform repairs on facility equipment, including basic plumbing, lighting, and painting projects
Identify and locate replacement parts and assist with spare parts inventory management
Complete work orders, maintenance records, and parts requests accurately
What We're Looking For:
• 1-2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using hand tools and power tools (drills, grinders, saws, etc.)
• Ability to weld and use a cutting torch
• Knowledge of basic facility maintenance and repairs
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts (certification preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment on concrete floors
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and assigned shifts as needed
