Job Summary
The Account Executive pursues new solution sales opportunities and profitably manages sales for assigned Key accounts. Objectives will be met by building and maintaining relationships through continual liaisons with support of key contacts to achieve corporate key account sales goals. Account Executive is expected to develop new targeted accounts to provide new growth for our operations.
***MUST HAVE MATERIAL HANDLING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE***
Responsibilities
  • Develops new solutions sales business through prospecting and networking
  • Implements sales plans for the assigned key accounts by coordinating personal sales activities with appropriate Daifuku associates
  • Analyzes and identifies issues with key accounts' distribution systems and works with Application Engineering and other team members to develop proposed solutions
  • Develops and implements sales strategies necessary to profitably outsell the competition
  • Leads the sales process with assigned key account as necessary to profitably meet or exceed sales goals
  • Represents Daifuku at assigned sales activities such as industry trade shows, trade organizations, and customer training
  • Travels up to 50%

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in material handling sales to the distribution or manufacturing market with a strong preference in selling advanced automation in retail / ecommerce market.
  • Technical or sales proficiency in the Advanced Warehouse Automation, Warehouse Controls Systems, controls, and mechanical elements highly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of the details, features, and benefits of all Daifuku technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and, after training, Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings
  • Ability to analyze and solve customer material handling requirements
  • Ability to interact with Daifuku technical and engineering teams to help ensure the suitability of the recommended solution
  • Strong communication (listening, verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Consultative technical skills
