TUES-SAT SCHEDULE

8am-5pm

Position Summary:

Billing Representatives will assist customers with questions regarding invoicing and payments, credit adjustments, account management, and process customer transactions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Billing Representative is a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt/hourly position. Open/flexible scheduling is expected. The position requires the ability to work any shift.

Travel:
Travel is not typical for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Billing Representative position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers via phone and email with invoicing, payment, and answering general account questions.
  • Customer account management and processing account transfers.
  • Applying applicable customer charges and credits.
  • Educate customers in the use of sonic tools.
  • Take customer cancellations and submit service turndowns.
  • Manage competing priorities and keep accurate notes/data entry.
  • Give top tier customer service to our valued customers.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to groups large and small and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general Ability to explain mathematical concepts.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate prorates and averages.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Computer Skills - Should have knowledge of Internet software, Telecom, Colocation, and Word Processing Software.
