Solutions Associates may also assist in implementing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support to clients. Their role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

How does a solutions associate typically collaborate with sales and technical teams during client engagements?

About the Role

This is a customer-facing role with some warehouse responsibilities built in. The expectation is to learn the operation, take care of customers and support the branch. Over time, product knowledge and familiarity with how things run will develop naturally. Strong performance here is what leads to growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on creating a positive customer experience through every interaction. Delivering solutions and building loyalty starts at the counter.
  • Keep the branch in good shape, focusing on the front counter and showroom. Restocking and inventory counting are key in this initiative.
  • Pull and stage customer orders with accuracy. Warehouse duties are a regular part of the daily routine.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist walk-in contractors in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build product knowledge through vendor visits, counter days, and collaboration with teammates. Product knowledge is the foundation of this role.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following branch procedures and looking out for the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong people skills, even on a busy day.
  • No HVAC experience required. Willingness to learn is what matters.
  • Reliable, punctual, and coachable.
  • Comfortable with physical work: lifting 20 to 50 or more pounds, working in a warehouse environment, and climbing ladders.
  • Clean driving record.

Compensation and Growth

  • Path forward: Counter Solutions Associate, Counter Solutions Expert, Assistant Manager.
  • Full benefits including 401(k) and health insurance.
