As a Solution Architect within PNC's i. Corporate Functions Technology (CFT) - Enterprise Technology - Solution Architecture organization, you will be based in Denver, Co, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX.

Needed Qualifications:
i. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
i. Strong understanding of AML/bank secrecy regulatory requirements and audit expectations.
i. Experience implementing or supporting AML platforms (e.g., Oracle FCCM, Actimize or equivalent).
i. Proven experience designing large-scale data processing architectures (batch-heavy environments).
i. Experience working with cross-functional teams including compliance, fraud, and data engineering.
Needed Technical Skills:
i. Strong expertise in data ingestion architectures (batch pipelines, ETL frameworks, scheduling tools such as CA7).
i. Experience with ETL platforms (e.g., Informatica) and modern data frameworks (e.g., Spark, distributed processing).
i. Understanding of AML transaction monitoring, alert generation, case management, and SAR workflows.
i. Familiarity with model integration patterns (ML/analytics pipelines).
i. Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures (preferred future-state capability).
i. Experience with observability, logging, and data lineage tracking.
i. Familiarity with different types of UML diagrams.
i. Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
Communication:
i. Excellent communication, with the ability to present complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
i. Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into clear architectural designs.
i. Experience engaging senior stakeholders (CIO, EA, compliance leadership) in decision-making.
Soft Skills:
i. Strong sense of initiative and ownership.
i. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality and security.
i. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities.
i. Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving security challenges.
i. Architecture & Modeling Expectations
i. Creation of architecture artifacts through investigation, exploration, and researching technologies available and other constraints that may be involved.
i. Creation of UML use case diagram(s), component diagram(s), sequence diagram(s).
i. Creation of Business Process Mapping Notation (BPMN) context diagram, functional flow diagram, cross-functional flow diagram, and application configuration flowchart diagram.

  • Designs solution roadmaps, according to business strategies and processes in solution architecture, through client requirement analysis, cross-team collaboration and problem resolution.
  • Designs solution roadmaps, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and solution architecture standards/processes.
  • Analyzes client requirements and determines appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.
  • Resolves routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architecture; assesses any potential risks and determines solutions to these risks.
  • Works with other solution architecture staff, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture updates.
