What you will be doing

As an HTST Operator at our dairy production facility, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) pasteurization system. Your duties will include setting up and maintaining equipment, ensuring proper pasteurization of dairy products, and conducting routine quality checks. You'll troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, maintain detailed records of production runs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering safe, high-quality dairy products to our customers.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm

Main responsibilities

  • Complete milk and cream pasteurization and related CIP processes.
  • Batch products as needed.
  • Log ingredients in Factory Track software, ensuring accuracy.
  • Execute allergen control program and ensure QA testing compliance.
  • Document information on Pasteurization charts per regulations.
  • Monitor fats, solids, and allergens in dairy products.
  • Maintain equipment sanitation through CIP and manual cleaning.
  • Report food safety/quality issues to management.
  • Promote a safe work environment and follow 5S and GMP standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
