As a Vacuum Sales and Services Rep (VSSR), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service by safely and professionally pumping non-hazardous liquids, sludges, solids from customers on a scheduled route. This includes the transportation and handling of industrial waste to ensure compliance, safety, and quality standards. Acting as a key representative for the company, you will build relationships with customers while performing vacuum truck services, generating leads, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Â
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety practices, policies, and regulatory requirements to prioritize health and safety in all operations.Â
- Customer Services: Safely vacuum up liquids, sludges, solids, transport waste and unload waste at designated disposal facility.Â
- Route Management: Visit multiple customer sites daily, completing scheduled services and pickups while ensuring customer satisfaction.Â
- Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships by addressing delivery-related questions, identifying customer needs, and relaying inquiries to internal teams.Â
- Compliance: Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT, Hazmat, and Tanker guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation for services and deliveries.Â
- Sales and Lead Generation: Identify and collect leads for additional services and products. Actively prospect for new customers while selling into existing accounts.Â
- Inspections and Records: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate driving records, logs, and delivery documentation.Â
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teammates to ensure customer concerns and opportunities are addressed effectively.Â
- Physical Labor: Perform manual tasks as required, such as lifting up to 75 lbs. and safely maneuvering barrels or equipment weighing up to 500 lbs. May be working in extreme cold or hot temperatures.Â
- Other Duties: Perform various additional tasks as assigned to support customer needs and business objectives.  Â
Education:
- Â High school diploma or GED
Experience and/or Training:
- Familiarity with USDOT & USEPA regulations and ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.Â
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.Â
License/ Certification:
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days).Â
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs. and handle up to 500 lbs. using appropriate tools.Â
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.Â
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Experience and/or Training:Â
- Prior vacuum truck services route driving, delivery driver, or commercial driving experienceÂ
- Business-to-business sales experience or ability to identify customer needs.Â
- Knowledge of Hazmat protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.Â
- Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.Â
License/ CertificationÂ
- Class A or Class B, Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker EndorsementÂ
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Â
- Knowledge of industrial, manufacturing, automotive business and waste generated at these locations is a plus.  Â

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $32Â and $34Â hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:
