The Field Specialist will participate in all aspects of installation projects, including construction of superstructure, iron work, cabling, and all aspects of installation and removal of batteries and associated chargers, control and distribution systems. The Field Specialist must possess the ability to understand, follow directions, and ultimately anticipate next steps. Adhering to safe practices and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) while presenting a professional work ethic and appearance during job performance and client interactions.The purpose of the position is to provide installation services while helping to resolve customer-related issues as defined by the specific quoted scope of work. The Field Specialist will assist the supervisor or on-site personnel to deliver customer requirements while supporting lead installers with mechanical construction tasks.Job DescriptionResponsible for projects' on-time performance, adherence to standard procedures, safety, and service interruption avoidance, quality, and customer service.Accurate and timely reporting of job schedules, project time reporting, and expense reports.Coordinates job scheduling in conjunction with material availability.Develops project synopsis, job-specific operation summaries, cost reduction actions.Develops technical capabilities of internal resources, administers all PCSS required policies including EEO, Safety, EPA, and human resource procedures for direct reports.Supervise job-specific staff on assigned service/installation projects within specific regions as required.Ongoing technical training to remain current with the state of the DC power/telecommunications technology base as it pertains to power and services.Continuous improvement techniques to achieve industry-leading installation processes, applications, and services to expand the customer base.Preferred QualificationsExperience with DC power installation/services specialist responsibility.Broad installation/service experience encompassing field engineering, material coordination, site layout, troubleshooting, revenue enhancement, customer relations, safety management within the DC power industry, solid personnel skills, and personnel assessment.Meet minimum customer-specific criteria for projects assigned.Meet requirements of Level 3 installer as defined in Telcordia GR 1275 document.Field service experience requiring a mechanical, structured cabling, or electrical skillset.What's in It for You?Power Storage Solutions prides itself on taking care of our employees.
