Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. (NYSE:SEI) provides scalable, equipment-based solutions for use in distributed power generation as well as the management of raw materials used in the completion of oil and natural gas wells. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Solaris serves multiple U.S. end markets, including energy, data centers, and other commercial and industrial sectors.


A major area of growth is Solaris Power Solutions, which delivers mobile turbine-based power systems, ancillary equipment, and integrated monitoring software to support distributed generation, backup power, microgrids, and utility-scale applications. These solutions are increasingly used in data center, AI compute, oilfield, and industrial environments where fast deployment and high uptime are critical. Solaris currently operates over 1.2 GW of power generation capacity and is expected to grow to approximately 3.2 GW in 2029.


About the Opportunity

Solaris Energy is searching for a Commercial Analyst who will support the Commercial team in driving the continued growth of this business. This role sits at the intersection of corporate development, commercial strategy, and financial analysis, and will focus on assisting with evaluating opportunities, structuring deals, and supporting customer engagements from a financial and strategic perspective.


Essential Functions

  • Support the Commercial team by translating financial analysis into deal structure and pricing strategy, and preparing pitchbooks, RFP responses, and other customer-facing materials
  • Build and maintain financial models to help evaluate new projects, commercial opportunities, and strategic initiatives
  • Support the analysis of customer opportunities across distributed generation, data center power, oil & gas, and industrial markets
  • Conduct industry research and competitive landscape analysis to inform commercial strategy and deal positioning
  • Assist with structuring commercial agreements, partnerships, and long-term service arrangements
  • Work cross-functionally with commercial, corporate development, finance, operations, engineering, and executive leadership teams

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, commercial finance, or similar analytical role
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to interface with both technical and commercial teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience supporting transactions, project development, or commercial deal structuring
  • Background in energy, power generation, infrastructure, oil & gas, industrial, or data center sectors preferred
