This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join SolarEdge's North American Commercial Sales Team and have a major part in leading the company's sales efforts in the commercial and industrial segment of the solar industry, through direct and channel sales.
Location: Remote. Individual must reside in the Northeastern US
Duties and Responsibilities
As Commercial Sales Manager for the Northeast region, you'll:
  • Lead Regional Strategy: Direct SolarEdge's commercial and industrial growth across New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies that expand our market share and increase adoption of our complete technology ecosystem
  • Manage Strategic Accounts: Build and nurture relationships with enterprise clients across manufacturing, agriculture, retail, REITs, education, and healthcare sectors
  • Optimize Channel Performance: Coordinate sales activities through EPCs, developers, and distribution partners while developing direct relationships with key decision-makers
  • Provide Market Intelligence: Deliver actionable insights on regional market trends, competitive positioning, and customer requirements to inform product and strategy decisions
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with engineering, product management, and executive leadership to align our offerings with market demands

Requirements
The ideal candidate brings:
  • 7+ years of proven success in technical B2B sales management, particularly with complex engineered solutions
  • Experience navigating multiple channels to market including distribution, EPCs, project developers, and end users
  • Demonstrated ability to close significant commercial deals and exceed revenue targets consistently
  • Technical understanding of commercial solar PV systems and energy infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree required; technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Track record of building and maintaining productive client relationships at multiple organizational levels
  • Experience with enterprise sales cycles and financial justification of capital investments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE
At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. OTE includes base, commission, and equity. Target commission is an additional 50% of the base salary. Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
