Job description

Moss, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor in the United States, is seeking a Human Resources Field Coordinator to support our utility-scale solar project inWheatley, AR. This role serves as a key partner to field leadership and hourly team members, helping ensure a positive employee experience while supporting critical HR and administrative functions on-site.

Schedule:7:00 AM start time to align with field operations.

What You'll Do

As a Human Resources Field Coordinator, you will serve as the primary HR partner supporting assigned project sites and field teams. This role is responsible for delivering hands-on HR support throughout the employee lifecycle while partnering with field leadership to create a positive employee experience and support operational success.

You will:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned project sites, providing guidance and support to employees and field leadership.
  • Partner with project leaders and supervisors to address workforce needs, employee concerns, and day-to-day HR matters.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding activities.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure employees are prepared for successful integration into the organization.
  • Support payroll accuracy by reviewing, auditing, and resolving timekeeping and attendance-related matters.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and company programs while escalating complex employee relations matters appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR data while supporting reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with HR and operational teams on compliance initiatives, audits, apprenticeship programs, workforce development initiatives, and special projects.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, employee relations, payroll, recruiting, or workforce coordination preferred.
  • Experience supporting hourly employees, field operations, or a fast-paced workforce environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to apply policies consistently and fairly.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Bilingual Spanish and/or Creole is a plus.
  • Construction, energy, or industrial industry experience is preferred but not required.
