What are solar technologies?

Solar technologies are systems and devices that capture energy from the sun and convert it into usable forms such as electricity or heat. The most common solar technologies include photovoltaic panels, which generate electricity, and solar thermal systems, which produce heat for water or space heating. These technologies are used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower energy costs. As solar technology advances, it becomes more efficient and accessible, helping drive the global transition to renewable energy.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in solar technologies?

To thrive in Solar Technologies, you need a solid understanding of electrical systems, renewable energy principles, and often a degree in engineering or a related technical field. Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV) system design software, solar panel installation tools, and certifications like NABCEP are commonly required.
