Job Overview
Solterra Solar is seeking a licensed 01 Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. This role will focus on commercial and residential solar installations, battery systems, and service work.
We are looking for someone who is experienced, safety-focused, and comfortable working in both solar and residential environments.
Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and commission commercial solar PV systems
  • Support battery/energy storage installations
  • Perform electrical work on residential solar projects
  • Interpret plans, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics
  • Lead or support crews on job sites
  • Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with project managers and inspectors
  • Perform service calls and system troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications
  • Active Washington State 01 Journeyman Electrician License (required)
  • Commercial electrical experience (required)
  • Solar (PV) installation experience (preferred)
  • Residential electrical experience (preferred)
  • Experience with:
    • Inverters (SolarEdge, Enphase, etc.)
    • Battery systems (Franklin, Enphase, etc. - if applicable)
  • Ability to work on roofs, ladders, and in outdoor conditions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
