\n This is an opportunity to join an industry leading renewable energy venture with strong private equity backing that is focused on the development, execution, and operations of dynamic utility\-scale energy storage projects.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>They are at the forefront of the industry, have accumulated over 9GW of projects in a relatively short period of time, and are currently in an expanding their Project Development Team across the United States. The current forecast is 3 Project Development Associates in based on a regional strategy (West...Central...East).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the renewable energy project development life\-cycle and specific experience researching\/identifying land opportunities that may make for ideal development sites. Another key aspect of the role will be handling the negotiations \/ agreements that take place with land owners as well as other key stakeholders (l<\/span><\/span>ocal governments, economic development entities, utilities...etc.)<\/span><\/span><\/b> involved in the acquisition and development of the land.   • The Renewables Project Developer \/ Project Development Associate will identify, research, prospect, and site land opportunities for utility\-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects through collaborative community efforts with land\-owners
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • The Renewables Project Developer \/ Project Development Associate will work on all initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of utility\-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects including initiating as well as responding to RFPs (request for proposals)
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • The Renewables Project Developer \/ Project Development Associate will negotiate with landowners on site control agreements for utility\-scale renewable and energy storage projects

  • The Renewables Project Developer \/ Project Development Associate will support development activities for both new and on\-going utility\-scale renewable and energy storage projects in the company's portfolio with an emphasis on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance

    \n QUALIFICATIONS:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

    • 3\-5+ years of utility\-scale renewable energy, energy storage, battery storage, LNG, and\/or natural gas experience working with IPPs \/ Developers \/ Owners
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • MUST have a breadth of hands\-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts for projects with developers in the renewables, natural gas, LNG, or energy storage space
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Solid understanding of the RFP \/ RFI process as it relates to project development initiatives
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Well versed in project siting, permitting, prospecting, and other due diligence initiatives for utility\-scale renewable (solar, wind, battery storage) projects
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Hands\-on experience utilizing site prospecting, land negotiations, and support of project financing initiatives,  
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Any exposure or project experience with energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage is a HUGE PLUS
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong communication skills are a MUST and needed to be efficient in this role
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work in a fast\-paced and dynamic team oriented environment
