Job Description

Doral is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing company. This position will report directly to the Director of Project Management and will be tasked with managing the execution of various solar and BESS projects in the pipeline throughout North America. This will include project support from beginning of execution through commercial operation of the facility. This role will be remote, but the ideal candidate must be able to travel to project sites up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Support the EPC selection process, contract execution (including exhibits), and managing those contracts through the life of the project.
  • Full ownership of the project as it pertains to safety, quality, schedule, budget, environmental compliance, and community relationships.
  • Select and coordinate the site management team and provide oversight of the project during construction through to commercial operation.
  • Interface with the ownerโ€™s engineer, interconnection utility, and other stakeholders to facilitate the EPC design review process.
  • Support the monthly invoice review/drawdown process and finance requirements.
  • Oversee the third-party QAQC process, factory acceptance testing, shipping, deliveries, etc. for owner-supplied equipment.
  • Support any due diligence effort by the Independent Engineer prior to NTP and through commercial operation.
  • Coordinate with any utilities for backup power, crossing agreements, ISP connection, etc.
  • Facilitate the transition of the project to O&M/Asset Management post COD.
  • Manage any supply contracts, such as High Voltage equipment and module supply agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in the US without visa/Green Card sponsorship from Doral.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management in the energy sector, preferably in the renewable industry, and with a developer or an EPC contractor or an ownerโ€™s engineer or an independent engineer.
  • MS Office including MS Project.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
