Job Title: Residential Sales Representative 

Job Type: Full Time

Start Date: Immediately

Salary Range: $80,000-$180,000 (includes salary + uncapped commissions)

Sign On Bonus: $5,000 total sign-on bonus ($1,000 after 30 days, $4,000 after $500,000 in sales)


Position Overview: The Residential Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for building trusted relationships with homeowners and driving new roofing business through inspections, education, and consultative sales. This role focuses on connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting clear, honest solutions that showcase JR & Co.’s quality, craftsmanship, and reputation. Ideal candidates are people‑oriented, self‑motivated, and energized by helping homeowners protect their biggest investment while growing business through referrals and community presence.

Essential Functions:

  • Build relationships with decision‑makers by prospecting, networking, and opening doors in targeted markets
  • Generate and grow a healthy sales pipeline through strategic partnerships and active lead development
  • Engage clients to uncover needs, identify growth opportunities, and close new business
  • Create and present compelling, customized proposals that showcase JR & Co.’s full capabilities
  • Partner with Estimators and internal teams to price work accurately and negotiate contract terms
  • Provide light project oversight after the sale by staying connected from kickoff through completion to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Represent JR & Co. professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to track opportunities, proposals, and business development activity

Education and Experience: 

  • 1-3 years B2C or B2B sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Construction/roofing industry background preferred, but not required
  • Canvassing sales experience preferred 
  • Prior storm restoration industry experience preferred
  • Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred


Training, Support, and Development

  • Paid 4 Weeks of training including roofing industry, construction education, and sales training.
  • Marketing materials and CRM access
  • Assistance from fully equipped estimating, operations, and admin staff
  • Ongoing, paid, professional development including new products, and sales training. 


Work Environment/Physical Requirements: 

  • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
  • Indoor office environment and outdoor door-to-door sales calling
  • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client availability
