Position Summary

Are you looking to take the next step in your electrical career? We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician with 5 - 10+ years of field experience who wants to join a company that is rapidly growing. They must fit well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment that requires flexibility and quick thinking. This individual must be capable of independently managing electrical projects, supervising crews, coordinating with customers, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, communicates well, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial and residential electrical projects 
  • Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians 
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications 
  • Plan daily work and coordinate jobsite activities 
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems 
  • Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, and equipment installations 
  • Install EV charging systems (Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers) 
  • Install LED lighting systems and lighting controls 
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations 
  • Coordinate inspections and communicate with inspectors when needed 
  • Maintain accurate job documentation 
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and project managers 
  • Identify field issues and provide practical solutions 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work van and job site. 
Qualifications

  • 5 - 10+ years of electrical experience required 
  • Illinois Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) 
  • Experience running commercial electrical projects 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Experience supervising crews 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders and lifts 
  • Experience with EV charging, generators, lighting controls, or solar is a plus
  • Chicago Electrical License is a plus
