We are seeking a licensed Electrician to join our team and lead electrical installations for our growing client base. If you're a skilled electrician with leadership experience and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
MUST BE ABLE TO PULL PERMITS IN NORTH/NORTHWEST SUBURBS. Prefer licensed in Libertyville, Elgin, Chicago or any with strong reciprocity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of standby generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS)
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electric Code (NEC) and state/local regulations
  • Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on the job site
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installation
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all work is performed according to company safety policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and job records
  • Pull all permits and manage inspections

Requirements:
  • Valid Electrician License in the state of IL
  • Proven experience as a Master Electrician or similar senior electrical role
  • Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, and generator installation
  • Ability to train, manage, and lead other electricians and apprentices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces
  • At first will be onsite doing installs but will transition to supervisory.
  • Assist with estimating, permitting, and all things technical
  • Partner with sales to ensure proper quoting and customer service.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Experience installing Generac, Kohler, or other standby generator systems
  • Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic tools
  • Familiarity with trenching, conduit bending, and service panel upgrades
  • ComEd and Peoples Gas coordination history
  • Experience with panel upgrades, solar or battery installation.
