Job Purpose Summary

The Solar Panel Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of residential and commercial solar installation projects. This role ensures installations are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and local codes. The supervisor provides technical leadership, manages installation crews, coordinates project activities, and serves as the primary point of contact between field teams and project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate solar panel installation projects from start to finish.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate installation crews to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine optimal solar panel placement.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to installation teams.
  • Manage project schedules, labor, and budgets to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor installation progress and provide regular project status updates.
  • Communicate with customers regarding project timelines, milestones, and any field issues.
  • Train new installers on installation procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices.

Education:
