Job description

Job Description One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Supervisor for a position located in Hobbs, New Mexico. The Construction Supervisor will provide oversight to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate will have 7+ years of related electrical experience.

Construction Supervisor Responsibilities: Provide technical recommendations and support for electrical activities throughout the construction process. Oversee low- and medium-voltage electrical work, including field connections to solar panels, NEXTracker systems, and associated equipment. Ensure all electrical installations meet project requirements, industry standards, and design specifications.

Maintain a strong focus on safety by ensuring all activities comply with safety regulations and best practices. Provide day-to-day oversight of field construction activities and electrical installation progress. Verify solar panel connections are properly installed, secured, and functioning as required.

Support the progression of electrical work as the project advances to inverter installation, ensuring all wiring, connections, and equipment integration are completed correctly and operating as intended. Requirements of the Construction Supervisor: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. 7-10 years of relevant electrical construction experience.

Extensive experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical systems. Specific experience within the electrical discipline of solar construction is highly preferred. Familiarity with the NEXTracker system, a positioning system used for solar panel tracking, is highly beneficial.
