Overview:

As a Commercial Field Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of commercial roofing projects from inception to completion. Your role would involve managing on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered on time. You will be assigned a project and be responsible for all field oversight of that project.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing
  • Experience with TPO, Metal, Shingle, and Tile roof systems
    • Preferred Experience Managing and Installing: TPO, Shingle, Metal & Tile Roof Systems
  • Ability to read plans, understand installation details, scopes of work and job specifications
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations- certs preferred but not required
  • Must be a team player and the ability to work closely with our project managers and labor crews
  • Detail oriented (Filling out daily reports, safety requirements, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Work together with the project manager & office team to meet project deadlines + identify and address issues during construction
  • Submit daily reports that include safety, job progress, crew roll call & other pertinent project information
  • Understand project scope in and out prior to starting the project. Foresee potential issues, delays or need for additional information from client, GC etc.
  • Provide A+ customer service to our clients/GCs. Addressing their needs, preferences, and culture. Keeping open communication throughout the project duration.
  • Promote positive subcontractor relations. Working together with all teams on the project site.
  • Re-Roof and New-Construction

Job Duties are listed below but are not limited to:

  • Cleanliness & organization of job site daily, oversee quality of installation, oversee pace of work, address problems & report on said problems, ensure safety protocols are being followed, Submit daily reports to production manager.
  • Report back to office staff/Project managers on progress of job, any issues on site, schedule update, change orders, photo reports, inspections etc.
  • Attend required meetings from customer/GC.
  • Submit daily on-site inventory report. Report back to PM on what materials are needed to keep production moving on site.
  • Coordinate with customer/GC on upcoming scope of work and schedule outlook.

Location: Reporting into our Winter Park office, working in the Orlando territory

Base Pay ranges depending on experience, starting at $65k+
