We are seeking a Field Service Technician to be based in Northern IL/Southeast WI, Texas or New Mexico, closest to the majority of our customer locations. However, customers may exist anywhere within the US, so travel may be required nationally and candidates near any major airport will also be considered. We offer the opportunity to experience the excitement, challenge and rewards of working in an entrepreneurial, fast growing, and industry-leading company where you will be challenged to troubleshoot, repair and test products in the field. You'll work on a wide range of locations and will learn to maintain all of our product lines.  This role provides detailed information on repairs or service activities to improve the field service processes. This position is very hands on and will allow you the opportunity to stand out and be recognized for your success. When you join the Yaskawa Solectria Solar team, you'll be surrounded by exceptionally talented individuals widely regarded as leaders in their areas of expertise.

You should have Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent work experience. Additionally you should have experience with high voltage and power electronics with a strong emphasis in basic electronic principles.  The perfect candidate will have previous PV systems or hands on inverter experience.

It is important to note that his position requires a high level of travel, both locally, domestically and internationally.  The Field Service Technician role does work outside in various types of environmental conditions.
