Location: Solar Farm
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fridays are Half Days!)


We are seeking dependable, hardworking Grounds Maintenance Technicians to help maintain solar farm facilities in the Alamo area. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in keeping properties well maintained, and are committed to safety, this is a great opportunity to join a respected renewable energy company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine mowing, trimming, and grounds maintenance at solar farm facilities.
  • Safely operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, and other landscaping equipment.
  • Maintain vegetation around solar panels, fencing, access roads, and electrical equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies and site procedures.
  • Properly wear and maintain all required PPE.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
  • Travel between assigned work sites as needed.
  • Complete additional duties assigned by the Lead O&M Operator or Site Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or general outdoor labor preferred.
  • Experience operating commercial lawn care equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attention to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.


Work Attire

High-visibility vest, long sleeves, and long pants are required while working outdoors. All required PPE is provided.
