THIS POSITION IS THROUGH TEMP LABOR TO START. Decommissioning a Solar System for 6-8 weeks.

The Rooftop Solar Installer will play a significant role in the installation of solar panels and related components on commercial structures.

Our Rooftop Solar Installer contributes to the team by:

  • Configuring, installing, inspecting, and maintaining Solar PV Systems for commercial customers as well as assessing the installation environment to identify and address any potential hazards and taking necessary steps to mitigate them.
  • Accurately mapping out the placement of components based on provided diagrams and ensuring the system is effectively sealed against weather conditions, following safety codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • As lead by the Lead Installer, conducting thorough testing and recording results. If adjustments or corrections are deemed necessary, follow the Lead Installers remediation suggestions.
  • Assisting the Lead Installer in building systems as designed on the Issued for Construction Drawing set. 
  • Accurately labeling installing, and terminating electrical wiring and/or connections.
  • Maintaining open and effective communication with subordinate supervisory personnel, regarding all activities within each job while ensuring occupational health and safety of all Centrica employees, subcontractors, project teams, clients, guests and assets in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, departmental and company policies, as well as industry standards and practices.
  • Maintaining and promoting an organized job site and/or working environment.
  • Maintaining current and valid certifications as required by Centrica and deemed necessary by safety, local, state, and federal laws.

The core components needed to be successful in this role are (i.e. preferred):

  • At least 1 years’ experience working in the Commercial Solar Industry
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools
  • Fall protection training and the use of fall arrest harnesses and equipment
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate exemplary worth ethics
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active Driver’s License and clean driving record

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $23.00-$28.00/hr + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location and expectations during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, commission, or benefits. 

 This position is prevailing wage eligible.
