To thrive as a Software Tester Intern, you need a basic understanding of software development concepts, attention to detail, and familiarity with testing methodologies, often supported by coursework in computer science or related fields. Experience with test management tools (like JIRA), bug tracking systems, and basic scripting or automation frameworks is highly beneficial. Critical thinking, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset help you excel in team environments and articulate findings clearly.
