Job description

Software Test Engineer

In-Depth Engineering Corporation is actively seeking a Software Test Engineer to support our AN/SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare Combat System program supporting our U.S. Navy customer. This is a full-time, permanent position in Manassas, Virginia. Engineering Test experience or AN/SQQ-89 or ARCI SONAR system familiarity is required, as this individual will be expected to begin testing following established test procedures upon joining the team. This team member will be tasked with executing software test procedures, analyzing results, and creating reports to document the progress of the project.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma, or GED equivalent and 0-6 years of testing/system experience.
  • B.S. degree in an engineering-related field with 0-2 years of testing/system experience.
  • US Navy Experience highly desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word 
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance
