We are seeking a motivated and experienced person to join our team in the role of Flooring Sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrate accountability, work effectively both independently and within a team, and excel in managing complex situations. This individual will be able to think outside the box, great at networking, and able to clearly communicate with clients. A strategic mindset and trustworthiness are essential attributes for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Sell flooring products and services to customers, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
     
  • Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers, ensuring transparency and clarity in pricing.
     
  • Coordinate with professionals to schedule and oversee flooring installations, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
     
  • Develop and maintain extensive product knowledge, staying informed about industry trends and innovations.
     
  • Build relationships with customers.
     
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities.
     
  • Order and receive flooring materials, manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.
     
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the flooring or construction industry would be an asset, but is not neccesary.
The ability to work independently and manage complex situations effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
Demonstrated success in sales and customer service is an asset.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office suite.
Valid driver's license.
