Job description

This government contractor is searching for a Software Developer to maintain and improve software and tools used for predictive readiness modeling and simulation. In this role, you’ll ensure the software operates securely and meets the Air Force’s high standards.

This role is a great fit for you if you have:
  • Secret security clearance (required)
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Modeling & Simulation, or a related field
  • Proficiency in a variety of modeling & simulation tools and statistical analysis techniques
  • Experience with software security best practices and Air Force IT deployment requirements
  • Experience with Java development and independent quality assurance/verification & validation
  • Ability to maintain, update, and modify existing software, databases, and tools
  • Experience with data analysis tools and writing queries
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bonus points for:
  • Experience with developing predictive readiness models or similar systems
  • Experience using the required development methodology, data standards, and hardware/software tools
