Job description

A leading company in secure embedded software solutions is seeking an experienced Account Executive for the Automotive industry. This company specializes in end-to-end embedded security, including secure boot, over-the-air updates, and lifecycle management tailored for the automotive sector among others.


Responsibilities
  1. Sell embedded software security solutions to a targeted list of Tier 1 automotive suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing automotive accounts.
  3. Build and maintain positive customer relationships, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team, including Field Application Engineers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Business Development personnel, to analyze customer requirements, deliver products and services that meet customer needs, and manage the sales cycle to revenue recognition.
  5. Coordinate with various functional departments to fulfill commitments made to customers and prospects. This includes contributing to strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements, and ensuring support commitments are met.
  6. Provide regular forecasting and reporting, manage the accuracy of the forecast pipeline, lead management, and represent the customer's voice within the organization.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technology field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  2. A proven track record of consistent sales quota achievement and ideally over-achievement.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  4. Confident and influential communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of the embedded software security market specific to the automotive industry.
  6. Experience in consultative selling to Tier 1s and OEMs in the automotive market.
  7. Experience negotiating, managing, and closing major accounts, with strong forecasting and CRM management skills.
  8. Proficiency in various sales mediums, including proposal writing and delivering presentations to customers.
