Job description

The Information Security Intern will report directly to the Co-Chief Information Security Officer (Co-CISO) and will assist by participating in all activities of the group, which cover Security Operations, Cloud Security, Privacy, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and IT Risk Assessment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing support for Information Security related tools and systems including:
    • Web Internet Security
    • Access control
    • Database administrative access management
    • Log Aggregation and security analytics
    • Password Management (for systems and administrative accounts)
    • Risk Management Software
  • Planning and participation in disaster recovery testing events
  • Planning of third-party penetration tests
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures and to ensure that they are properly updated and contain the necessary controls to support the control agenda
  • Gathering and preparation of materials needed for executive presentations and reports
  • Participation and gathering of information from company-wide personnel for enterprise risk assessment
  • Supporting analysis and risk reporting of outside service providers and potential outside service providers
  • Documenting, reporting, and escalating any security, privacy, or Red Flags incidents as appropriate
  • Promoting information security awareness to all employees

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of a bachelor's degree Computer Science, Cyber or Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management or related field
  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in security or risk management
