Overview

AcroBlue Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality CMM Technician / Engineer to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality and dimensional accuracy. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining quality standards, developing measurement programs, and driving continuous improvement across production processes.

If you have strong experience with CMM equipment, GD&T, and automotive quality systems—this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, quality-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CMM measurement programs
  • Perform CMM probing and scanning operations
  • Analyze measurement data and provide actionable insights
  • Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Inspect, test, and evaluate product reliability and manufacturing processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards
  • Interpret and apply GD&T and blueprint specifications
  • Communicate measurement results and recommend corrective actions to production teams
  • Prepare detailed reports by collecting and analyzing data
  • Support production timelines and meet delivery deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with PolyWorks software
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Matrixeye LT
    • FARO Edge Arm
    • Hexagon Romer Absolute Arm
  • Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and quality audit systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to travel (as needed)
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing and quality control
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
