Job DescriptionIronCAD is a leading technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for the engineering and product design community. We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters who are able to take on the challenge of ensuring the quality of our next generation of desktop and cloud-based applications for 3D product design, visualization, and collaboration.
The current position may be for a contract (hourly) or permanent basis, depending on the candidate.
Required Skills and Experience- Four-year or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field.
- Prior experience as software engineer or software QA/Test engineer.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and testing processes including: writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user requirements.
- Demonstrable familiarity working in scripting and/or programming languages.
- Demonstrable ability to analyze problems logically and articulate solutions in a clear manner.
- Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Attention to detail, pride in delivering quality work on time, and demonstrable organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Employment Authorization for U.S.A.
Successful candidate will be able to eventually lead a comprehensive Quality Assurance program within the company. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Developing comprehensive test plans for product release.
- Transforming functional specifications and Use Cases into detailed test cases and test scripts.
- Creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
- Performing some manual testing of products.
- Collection and analysis of Quality Metrics to quantify the state of each product release.
