Department: TR IT Services & Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Reports To: Software Quality Assurance Manager
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional weekends as needed

Join Our IT Team

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance Analyst II to help ensure the quality, reliability, and business value of software solutions across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with software developers, subject matter experts, and IT leadership to understand business requirements, develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and document defects, and verify that software solutions meet established quality standards before and after implementation.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys finding opportunities for improvement, and can effectively communicate technical and business-related information to a variety of audiences.

What You'll Do
  • Perform quality audits of software solutions developed and delivered by internal software development staff.

  • Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases, scenarios, and validation criteria.

  • Develop, enhance, execute, and refine software testing procedures to identify defects and ensure solutions meet quality and business requirements.

  • Analyze testing results, identify trends and risks, and communicate project status and QA findings to the Software Quality Assurance Manager.

  • Clearly document software defects, issues, and opportunities for improvement and communicate findings to software developers for resolution.

  • Collaborate with developers throughout the defect resolution process and perform follow-up testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements.

  • Verify that software solutions function as intended and successfully meet requirements following implementation.

  • Assist in evaluating and improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.

  • Develop and evaluate user manuals, process guides, user documentation, and other reference materials.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations on newly developed solutions and QA results to management and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of test cases, results, defects, and project status.

  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Software Quality Assurance role.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze business requirements.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, multitasking, follow-up, and prioritization skills in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver management-level presentations for newly developed software solutions.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio/flow-charting tools.

Education
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience required.

Why This Role Matters

Quality assurance plays a critical role in delivering technology solutions that are dependable, effective, and aligned with business needs. As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst II, you'll have the opportunity to influence the quality of software throughout the development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and designing test scenarios to validating fixes and confirming successful implementation.

Your attention to detail and ability to identify issues before they impact users will directly contribute to reliable technology and a better experience for the organization.

Work Schedule

Normal workdays are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday and Sunday work may be required based on business and project needs.
