QA/QC Specialist (Quality Assurance / Quality Control)

With a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer support, the organization partners with leading global manufacturers to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.

Compensation: 85k

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized quality systems and processes across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and industry quality standards
  • Establish and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Support and coach internal teams on quality requirements and best practices
  • Lead inspections, testing, and verification activities across service and operational functions
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into service delivery and operations
  • Support internal, supplier, and regulatory audits (including Health Canada, where applicable)
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of tools and equipment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Quality Assurance or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CSA)
  • Experience leading audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with QA/QC tools, systems, and reporting technologies
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

Preferred Assets

  • Quality certifications (e.g., CQE, CQT, ISO Lead Auditor, NDT Level II)
  • Experience with digital QA/QC platforms and data analytics tools
