Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to champion and lead quality standards across our Upstream Planning portfolio. This role involves mentorship, supporting and leading technical decisions, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The overall objective is to provide leadership, mentor team members, and lead strategic initiatives that enhance deliverable quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and define quality across the Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Actively mentor and lead multiple testers across teams in the portfolio
  • Establish and support standards and best practices across the application portfolio.
  • Drive the adoption of modern technologies and frameworks
  • Lead and support technical decisions, enforce quality standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Test deliverables by working within agile team(s)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to testers, ensuring alignment with strategy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with guidelines.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in quality assurance for enterprise software
  • 2+ years of experience managing testers
  • Experience with performance reviews and career development processes
  • Strong expertise and experience in QA methodologies and practices
  • Proven, hands-on experience using Playwright
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman…)
  • Experience and knowledge of automated testing practices and tools
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
  • Understanding of APIs and microservices architecture
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency using AI tools (Claude code, GHCP…)
  • Experience testing AI/ML workloads or agentic systems
  • Knowledge of performance/load testing tools (JMeter…)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins…)
  • Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar extensibility patterns
  • Proven ability to align emerging technologies with organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of upstream oil and gas domain

Additional Details

  • Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
