Job Description

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional product deployment projects. The ideal candidate is an expert in project management with proven communication and leadership skills, capable of driving multiple simultaneous business projects towards aggressive delivery goals. This role is instrumental in identifying potential project breakdowns, implementing corrective changes, and proactively finding creative solutions to constraints to ensure successful, on-time project completion. This role requires exceptional skill in navigating a highly matrixed internal organization and coordinating with complex customer organizations to ensure successful, on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Impact

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Own the Project Plan- Write, manage, implement, and continuously measure the project plan utilizing automated project management tools and processes.

  • Drive On-Time Delivery-Build, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project launch plans, meticulously tracking deliverables, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies across all cross-functional teams.

  • Mitigate Risk & Escalate- Proactively anticipate issues, explore contingency plans, and provide effective escalation management throughout all phases of key projects.

  • Lead Implementation- Be fully accountable for the successful implementation and professional hand-off of the solution to the long-term Support and Success teams.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

  • Primary Liaison- Serve as the central point of contact for customers, channel partners, subcontractors, and internal staff for project-related matters.

  • Status & Reporting - Establish and maintain contact with customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular, transparent, and concise status updates.

  • Meeting Facilitation - Organize and facilitate effective meetings with both internal and external customers to drive decision-making and ensure the achievement of project goals, milestones, and deadlines.

  • Negotiation & Influence - Leverage excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to navigate organizational complexity, influence stakeholders, and ensure project success.


Strategic Planning & Process Improvement

  • Business Acumen - Understand and articulate the business and financial implications of all project decisions and outcomes.

  • Process Enhancement - Collaborate with provisioning and product teams to develop and enhance tools, processes, and methodologies that improve collaboration, reduce redundancy, and ensure overall project success.

  • Risk Analysis - Perform detailed analyses of program data, provide ongoing assessment of project risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to customers and management. Prepare comprehensive action plans to resolve issues that could severely impact project achievements.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience working with SaaS solutions.

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience successfully navigating and leading agile projects within a highly matrixed organizational structure.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate the 'big picture' strategy while building trust with leaders cross-departmentally.

  • Proficient in developing project documentation and experienced with cloud-based document management systems.

  • Experience with Public Safety communications systems, understanding of local public safety customers (police, fire, EMS) is a significant plus.

  • PMP, PMP-ACP, or equivalent agile certifications are highly desirable.

  • Monday.com, Salesforce, or Zendesk experience is a plus.

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
