The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of Gas utility projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs. This role involves managing scope, budget, and schedules, resolving complex issues, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes. The manager applies analytical thinking, independent judgment, and a strong understanding of cost management and corporate processes to guide project performance. Ideal candidates are proactive, collaborative, and skilled at navigating organizational systems to drive efficiency and results.


  • Manage scope, cost, budget, and schedule changes, maintaining project activities by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues for small to medium complexity projects.
  • Lead monthly discipline reviews and progress evaluations, ensuring performance management, budget development, and policy/process approvals are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the project team to meet project and organizational objectives, providing consultation on navigating interdepartmental systems and processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate complex problems, considering a wide range of alternatives to determine the most effective solutions aligned with customer needs and project goals.

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with Utilities industry projects
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Experience managing a team and assigning work to team members
  • Ability to navigate the internal organizational procedures and can interpret policies/procedures
  • Ability to communicate mission, objectives and safety philosophy in decision making and supervising the work of others
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency using project management software, scheduling tools, and cost management/cost control tools

Pay Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year

Work Location: Hybrid 3-5 days per week in the Portland, OR office

Travel: Occasional travel to project sites in the Portland area

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
